Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup
They slither while they pass, they slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind
Possessing and caressing me
They slither while they pass, they slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind
Possessing and caressing me
Jai guru deva om
Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes
They call me on and on across the universe
Thoughts meander like a restless wind
Inside a letter box they
Stumble blindly as they make their way
Across the universe
They call me on and on across the universe
Thoughts meander like a restless wind
Inside a letter box they
Stumble blindly as they make their way
Across the universe
Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Sounds of laughter shades of life are ringing
Through my open ears inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which shines around me like a million suns
And calls me on and on across the universe
Through my open ears inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which shines around me like a million suns
And calls me on and on across the universe
Just a thought: if you want to do a project in this class inspired by the Beatles and George Harrison in particular, that would be so cool! Nobody has done that for this class before. George Harrison wrote some great music inspired by his connection to India, and of course he was a key figure in bringing Ravi Shankar's music to Europe and America. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea. I love the Beatles, and my best friend is a Beatles fanatic and has basically memorized each Beatle's entire life. :'-D I'll do my best.
DeleteDefinitely a fun possibility to play with! :-)
